How Often Do Men Think About Sex?

Men are "always" thinking about sex, according to researchers at the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction at Indiana University. By that they meant that 54 percent of men think about sex several times a day, compared with just 19 percent of women, they wrote in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Scientists. Think that's a lot? It's nothing if neuropsychiatrist Dr. Louann Brizendine, author of "The Female Brain," is correct.

She writes in her book that men think about sex every 52 seconds, while women tend to think of it just once a day. If men are thinking about sex more frequently than once a minute, how do they get any work done? Blame it on a society that is bombarded with subconscious erotic images. ABC News reports that researchers at the University of Minnesota concluded that sexy subliminal images competed for attention in the human brain even when those images were not right in front of the person's eyes. Weirdly, most people are not even consciously aware of them! Brizendine says the huge disparity in the frequency that men and women think about sex is the result of basic neurological differences. Because of hormone levels at different stages of life, the male and female brains are built differently, which in turn makes us think and act differently.

Even if women aren't thinking about sex as frequently as men, they are thinking about their sex appeal. In addition, women never forget a fight, a romantic encounter or a tender moment, asserts Brizendine in an interview with The Washington Post. She says a woman's strengths are in conflict resolution, deep friendship and the ability to read moods. "There is no unisex brain," Brizendine told Post reporter William Booth. "It follows these two brain models can produce quite different behaviors." Blame it all on hormones. A man's body is bathed in testosterone, which accounts for those sexy thoughts once every 52 seconds. A woman? "The female brain is so affected by hormones, they control her very perception of reality," she explained. "Her values, her desires, what's important to her, even whom she loves." And it's not just about sex.

Understanding Men.

Are you a single woman and Looking for a man to settle down with?
Or are you a single man looking for a woman?
Are you also wondering why your relationships are always going wrong?
Here I will talk about the wrong attitudes, that men make, towards dating and relationships.
Ok, so the first impressions a guy will notice is, the appearance of someone.
That includes her face, her body size, yes that includes her chest size too.
That is his first want.
Already you can see he is not looking for someone with a nice, caring nature. All he is thinking of, is 'his penis' at this point, a sexual attraction and her being a potential mate.
So what do men really want? The answer is, they want the best of both worlds.
They want a stunning woman on the outide who they can show off to the world with the proud attitude, haha she is mine, not yours. Look what I have got and you haven't and they want someone who on the inside, is brainy, loving, affectionate, friendly, polite, thoughtful and caring.
The thing is though, "perfection does not exist in this world!" Men are always looking around hoping they will get better than what they have. The trouble is though, they see something they like and cannot resist the temptation and of course, risk losing a good relationship they could already be in. In short, they are chasing something better they will never be able to find. Many women who are lucky enough to be blessed with beauty, know they are beautiful and at the same time, they enjoy the attention from men and become lost in that surrounding. They then, can in turn, turn out to be bitchy, flirt around and sleep around.
Men do want to be loved but more often than not, he is looking in the wrong place first.

Tiredness And What You Can Do To Help!

More and more women in the Uk are complaining of constant tiredness.
There can be dozens, if not hundreds of possible reasons for persistent fatigue
so... finding the root cause can be difficult.

However, there are several steps you can take to help alleviate this tiredness irrespective of the reasons behind it. Five of the most effective are as follows:

Cut out the caffeine
A cup of coffee will reduce tiredness for an hour or so but then make you feel even worse than before you started. Once the caffeine fix wears off your energy levels will completely collapse.

Welcome the water
The first thing you should do when you feel tired is have a glass of water. Dehydration is the primary cause of many women's constant feeling of tiredness.

Get your sleep
This sounds like a no-brainer but a surprising number of women who complain of chronic fatigue simply aren't getting enough sleep. The human body needs at least seven hours a night to function properly. Also, try to get in to a pattern of going to bed at the same time, as this encourages a deep, restful sleep.

Don't diet too hard
Without sufficient food, your body struggles fro energy and without sufficient energy you will feel tired. Cutting out too many calories from your diet in a bid to lose weight will eventually cause chronic fatigue.

Exercise that tiredness away
You might think that a workout is the last thing you should do when you feel tired but a lack of exercise is actually one of the main causes of low energy levels.

Why Do Men Cheat?

"Like it or not - men cheat"!

They have wandering eyes.
They're obsessed with Page 3.
They come home from one-too-many late nights at the 'office' with lipstick on their collars.
To whatever degree, men do cheat and they do it more than women.
In the original Kinsey Report, approximately 60 per cent of men, compared to 30 per cent of women, were unfaithful to their spouses before the age of 40.
Those numbers have remained much the same in subsequent studies.

The bottom line is why do men cheat?

1. SEX.
Men just can't control their eyes and hands.

'Women need a reason to have an affair, men just need a place'.

'Men will cheat if given the opportunity.
They are just like that!
They can be happy in their relationship and life, but if the opportunity to cheat is there,
they will do it! I really believe they can't help it.
'Men do it for sex'. A man can have sex with another woman and not feel anything for her'.

2. Quick Fix.
Although sneaking around takes a lot of effort.
More effort is required to salvage a rocky relationship.

'It is easier to go running off with the office tramp than it is to admit something is wrong with your relationship and make a commitment to work on it'.

'I think if people took half the time and effort they put into sneaking around and channelled that energy into making a great marriage or relationship,
they would realise that, most of the time, what they are looking for has always been with them'.

'Sometimes the thought of divorcing and changing everyone's lives is much too hard to handle.
So the easier choice is an affair'.
'I don't think it's the right choice, but most people will take the easier road,
thinking no one will be hurt because they are keeping the marriage and family intact'.

3. 'The fragile male ego'.
We all like to be complimented by the opposite sex and according to many, that's the ground for most men's affairs.

He has to prove to himself that he is attractive and appreciated by women.
It is his way of judging himself and his own self worth.

'I think unfaithfulness goes hand in hand with low self-worth.
Cheaters seek approval or fulfilment in the eyes of another person when they should be looking within themselves'.

'I think it has a lot more to do with how the cheater feels about his/her self,
rather than how the cheater feels about his/her spouse'.

4. To Fill a Void.
Many concluded that men cheat because they are not satisfied with their relationships.
When something is missing, be it regular sex or healthy communication, men try to fill this gap with an affair.

Just like women, men cheat when there is something lacking in a relationship.
The wife may not even see what's missing.
Maybe the man wants kinkier sex and is afraid to ask, or has already been turned down.
Maybe he's cheating with another woman who doesn't nag him.

'I guess, in a nutshell, the reason why a spouse cheats is because he/she feels alone'.

5. They're Selfish.Whether they're immature, greedy or just haven't got a clue.
'Some men don't value or respect their partners'.

'Sometimes people cheat in a marriage because they are not mature enough to understand and live by their vows'.

'Cheating is one of the most selfish acts a person can commit,
because despite the fact that they entered into a relationship with another person,
they choose to act as though they are the only one whose feelings, needs and desires matter'.

'Somehow we've become so convinced about what we're entitled to
that we have completely lost sight of what we are responsible for.
It doesn't matter who gets hurt, as long as he get what we wants'.

'I believe some people are so needy they devour their partner's love and move on.'

Hygiene Is A Must!

26/02/2010.
I had to go into town for an appointment this morning.

I was freezing my friggin ass off at the bus-stop and it was late!
No, correction... They cut one out and made me late.
After killing some time looking in all the shoe shops and clothes shops,
I decided to head back for the bus.
So this teenage boy gets on the bus, he decides to sits on the seat in front of me and he stank of BO.
It was that bad I had to stop myself from reaching and it was over - powering my perfume.
Really! There is no need for poor hygiene it is disgusting and I do not know how people can live like that. It is sooooo totally off putting!
